Title
Onboard a Galloway Pleasure Steamer from Portobello Beach
Description
A Galloway steamer pulls out from Portobello Beach carrying a full load of Victorian travellers. The people are all dressed in full outdoors clothes and most are sitting either side of an open pathway. The ladies are wearing hats and parasols and the men are in suits and caps. Towards the front of the boat lifeboats can be seen hanging on each side. The steamer's pilot can be seen at the ship's wheel and in front of him a large smoking funnel.
