Biography

Cruden Ltd were founded in the '40s by Harry Cruden. At this time their modus operandi was to repair buildings damaged by war. Cruden was granted a licence by Swedish company Skarne, whose prototype concrete houses were both popular and notable, as demonstrated by the now-defunct high rise buildings which formerly dominated Sighthill's skyline. Cruden was once based in Musselburgh. At the time of writing, over 350 employees work at Cruden Group.
