These are two points from the original Charter, presented to the House of Commons on 14 June 1839. The remaining points were: payment of MPs, abolition of property qualifications, equal electoral districts and annual parliaments.
This banner was carried by the Associated Carpenters and Joiners of Scotland, Edinburgh Branch, in the Reform Demonstration of November17 1866 and in the Great
Demonstration against the Criminal Law Amendment Act of August 23 1873.
The Associated Carpenters and Joiners of Scotland date from 1861-1911.
