The Scottish National Operative Plasterers Federal Union was formed in 1888, absorbing the Edinburgh United Journeyman Plasterers Society. The union merged with the National Association of Operative Plasterers in 1967, one year before that union transferred engagements to the Transport and General Workers' Union.
