The girls are on their way to a Harvest Thanksgiving service at St Andrews Church in Newhaven. The church, opened in 1852, was known as the 'fishermen's church'. Its building was funded mainly by contributions from the local fishing community.
St Andrews Church closed in 1974, and its congregation joined with that of Newhaven on Forth Parish Church.
