Biography

Pelham Puppets are one of the best-known puppet makers in the U.K. The company was founded in 1947 by Bob Pelham, In the 1950s and 60s, thousands of puppets were produced and sold every week, as putting on puppet shows for friends and family became popular.
The Pelham Puppet company was eventually wound up in 1996, after the death of Bob Pelham and subsequent changes of ownership. In 2008, David Leech, who had worked for Pelham in the 1970s, set up the new Pelham Puppets.
