Lauriston Place Fire Station was opened in 1900 and is now a Category A Listed building. It was designed by Robert Morham in an Arts & Craft style. It was an operational fire station until 1988, now it is the Headquarters of Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue Service and home to the Museum of Fire.
