Description
Sindy doll with soft vinyl socket head, painted side-glancing blue eyes and coarse brown nylon hair. Sindy is dressed in 'Weekenders' costume of blue jeans, striped red, white and blue jersey top, and white plastic shoes. The toy is made from hard plastic with soft vinyl limbs jointed at the shoulders and hips.

Sindy was launched in 1963 by British firm Pedigree SoftToys Ltd. Some of Sindy's earliest clothes were designed by iconic Sixties fashion designer Mary Quant. Over the years, Sindy's outfits and physical appearance have changed many times, and she has acquired family and friends including her boyfriend Paul.
