In the right hand corner there is a bumble bee. The back of the book lists the other books available in the series. Inside there are twenty nine coloured illustrations and text.

Thomas The Tank Engine and friends is based on the books by Reverend W.V.Awdry who originally wrote the stories for his son Christopher. The ITV network made the books in to an animated television series which was first broadcast in 1984. The books focus on a group of anthropomorphised locomotives and carriages. The television show featured celebrity storytellers such as Ringo Star.
