'Starsky & Hutch' Ford Gran Torino. The toy car has a metal body with white 'vector' stripe, chrome with 'Ford' in raised letters on front of bonnet and on right hand side of boot. 'Gran Torino' in raised lettering on bodywork behind each front wheel. Plastic cream coloured interior with plastic steering wheel on left hand side. Plastic windscreens and windows. Four wheels and moulded plastic undercarriage

Starsky & Hutch was a 1970s ABC network television series. The show featured the characters of two policemen, David Starsky and Kenneth 'Hutch' Hutchinson. The vehicle of choice for these two characters was Starsky's two-door Ford Gran Torino, which was red with a large white vector stripe. Both Starsky and Hutch were often filmed behind the steering wheel of the striped tomato as the car was known to fans, either in conversation or in hot pursuit of criminals.
