The jigsaw puzzle was invented by John Spilsbury in 1767. Spilsbury was a mapmaker and an engraver. John Spilsbury created the first jigsaws as an educational tool. Today the jigsaw is not just an educational toy but a fun hobby taken up by all ages. The jigsaw featured here is an example of the many jigsaws inspired by movies and film characters.
