Description
The label for Bernard's commemorative Coronation Light Ale is oval in shape and has a royal blue background with white and gold lettering. The initials 'E R' and a crown emblem appear at the top above a scroll and two small flags, the union jack and a gold flag with a red lion on it.

T & J Bernard began brewing at the Edinburgh Brewery at North Back Canongate in 1840. In 1888, after the original site became too small, a new Edinburgh Brewery was opened in Slateford Road. The company was taken over by Scottish Brewers Ltd in 1960 and ceased trading.
