Original caption: Queen Mary's Bath which is supposed to have been a gate house in the boundary wall of Holyrood Palace grounds. It is situated in Watergate. The house on the right of the view has been demolished.
Queen Mary's Bath House stands in the grounds of Holyrood Palace. According to legend it is where Mary, Queen of Scots would bathe, although this seems an unlikely use for the building.
