Description
A large fortified house stands in grassy and partially-forested grounds. A number of wooden fences surround parts of the land, while the house is guarded by a two tiered construction of thick stone walls. Two people walk up a staircase towards the house.

Only parts of the original castle now stand, after it was re-constructed in 1867 by Hercules James Scott. In 1949, Brotherton Castle became home to Lathallan School.
