Title
Dunbarton
Description
View of Dunbarton from the banks of the River Leven. A group of trees frame the view as it leads towards the loch and the five-arch bridge which straddles it. Fishermen sit in small boats on the water, while three larger ships sit anchored in the bay, attended by a number of small transport boats. Three conical-shaped industrial chimneys issue forth plumes of smoke over a tight settlement of houses, tenements, and warehouses.
