Restalrig is an area of East Edinburgh, lying between Meadowbank and Craigentinny. It first appears in the twelfth century when it was known as Lestalric and was a Barony of the Logan family. The core of the original village still survives around St Margaret's Parish Church, which is the site of St. Triduana's Well.
