Description

A bird's eye view down Northwest Circus Place in Stockbridge. Many shops line the street. A group of sailors make their way up the hill, as does a man pulling a laden handcart. A post-box and tall streetlight can be seen on the other side of the road.

North West Circle Place is situated roughly half a mile north of Princes Street. Along with the adjacent Royal Circus it was designed by W. H. Playfair and built in the early 1820's.
