Patriothall is situated on Hamilton Place in Stockbridge, Edinburgh. It was designed by John Starforth and built in 1859 for the Edinburgh Northern District Co-operative Society. Like its contemporary, Rosemount Buildings on Gardner's Crescent, Patriothall is an example of mid-19th century industrial housing, designed for occupation by the working classes.
