Mr Edward Innes, and his second, Mr James Cooper, following after Mr Bell
Description
Two smartly dressed men walk past a fisherwoman, on their way from Edinburgh to Musselburgh. The first man uses a handkerchief to wipe his brow and carries his hat in his hand. His companion carries a bottle and a walking stick. The elderly woman is going in the opposite direction and carries a large bag which is covered by a cloth. The strap of the
bag is placed across her forehead and she takes the weight on her back.

The accompanying text in the volume begins as follows:
"In this, the sequel of the preceeding Etching, Mr Innes is represented in the rear of his victorious opponent; and, from the expression of his countenance, it may be argued that every hope of success has expired."
