Reid Memorial Church was designed by Leslie Grahame Thomson in the Arts and Crafts Gothic style and built between 1929 and 1933. William Reid was an Edinburgh businessman whose youngest son left his estate to the United Free Church to build a church in memory of his father. The reunion of the churches occurred before building started and the Reid Memorial Church belongs to the Church of Scotland.
