Description
A large empty and derelict room in a house in Craig's Close. Small, ornate Ionic columns divide the room, while neo-classical fretwork decorates the edges. Two doors are visible on the right-hand side, while a fireplace is visible at the far end of the room.

Craig's Close originally ran from the north side of the High Street in Edinburgh down to Market Street. Its southern section was destroyed in an extension to City Chambers in the 1930's. Its northern section remains, running from Cockburn Street down to Market Street.
