Forrest Road in Edinburgh leads north from the east end of Lauriston Place towards George IV Bridge. It was the site of the Edinburgh Charity Workhouse until the building was removed in the 1870's. The road was named after Sir James Forrest of Comiston, Lord Prvost between 1837-1843.
