Wester Hailes Fringe Parade
A large group of children stand on and in front of a carnival float. The children are dressed in costume representing different countries of the world and are holding flags. To the right of the stage are a small group of girls from the Clovenstone Majorettes, or "Twirlers" as they are known locally. They are dressed in military fashion with shiny hats and carrying batons. At the back of the stage is a large rainbow and a globe decorated with a ring of hands. The stage is also decorated with bunting and bunches of balloons.
