by drill while standing
between the spindles.
Remarks : Severe cut on knee & eye. Seen by Dr Hunter
& then went home to Edinr. With workmen's
train.

Cause of Accident/Nature of Accident : While on his way to
work at Inch Garvie
was taken suddenly ill
Remarks : Was taken to Jetty check office & seen by Dr Hunter
who stated the man was dead.
This book was acquired by Museums & Galleries Edinburgh in 2018. It is, as far as we know, the only surviving working document from the earliest stages of construction of the Forth Bridge.
