Pleasance Buildings between Salisbury Street and Brown Street
Description
Old stone houses stand on the corner of the Pleasance at Brown Street, Edinburgh. The Charteris Memorial Church (now Kirk o' Field Church) can just be seen on the right-hand side. Many of the windows on the tenement are blocked up. Shops line the ground level on the Pleasance including a dairy and confectioners. A tall metal lamppost stands in Brown Street.
