Certificate for the St Andrew Order of the Ancient Free Gardeners, Holyrood Lodge
Description
One certificate for the St Andrew Order of the Ancient Free Gardeners. The main design of the certificate features the the All Seeing Eye, with a crown, angels, St .Andrew and a cross. There is one palm tree on either side of the certificate. Along the bottom there are figures engaged in gardening and agricultural activities such as watering, raking, digging, sharpening a scythe, a playing child with mother and baby, and hay ricks. The certificate is inscribed, 'This is to certify that Brother_______ was initiated as member of the Holyrood lodge No. 74 on the 9th day of May in the year of our Lord, one thousand Nine hundred and four'.
