The photographer's surname was Scott.
Inverleith Park is located immediately to the west of the Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh. The land was bought by the Edinburgh Corporation in 1889 from the Rocheid family and laid out as a park. Its features include football and rugby pitches, a cricket square, and a large pond. The north-west corner of the park is occupied by allotments.
