One of the earliest trade unions, the Ship Wrights Provident Union, was formed in 1824 and instituted in Leith on 17th December, and this card was issued at the first meeting.
The card is addressed to:
Mrs Reid, St. John's A.F.C Manse,
4 Claremont Park, Leith.
1st, 2nd and 3rd Thursdays.
