Silver George III coin encapsulated in glass from Edinburgh Bridewell time capsule, buried 1791 (possibly sixpence)
Description
A silver George III coin (sixpence ?) encapsulated within glass. Wrapped in a section of newspaper. Re-discovered within a glass jar with eight other coins, when the Bridewell prison was being demolished to make way for St Andrews House.
