'Last night as I sat out watching the hedgehogs I could hear high in the sky the chirping of birds ... at first I thought it was small birds, then I realised it was starlings ... so high up they looked tiny...
I don't know where all the large frogs have gone ... eaten by the hedgehogs perhaps ...
Still baby sparrows appear ... I've never seen so many sparrows here before ...'
