Title
Troup Head, Aberdeenshire
Description
A water scene taken from within the shelter of a rocky bay. Two small boats sit in the harbour, while a large ship lies on its side behind them. A group of men gather on the rocks next to the ship-wrecked boat, while closer down the shore line, two men carry a large pole from the water and a horse and cart is loaded with objects. On the left side of the harbour, two people stand on the harbour walkway, watching the scene. On top of the cliff, a couple of houses can be seen, as well as a small defensive structure.
