Title
The Rev.d Jonas Beily - West Port celeberity [celebrity]
Description
The poet, Donald Campbell has written a poem inspired by this character by Holt:

Reverend Beily

He needs a mask to hide the grin
that hovers just above his chin,
His congregation must not see
the least degree of levity,
the humour shining deep within.

His firm belief in discipline
Must always seek to underpin
the preaching of his ministry.
His people, in extremity,
All know quite well his suit of black
signifies that true divinity
of which he has no lack.
Yet, to be equal to his task
he needs a mask.
