'The robin who I have not seen since spring is back ...
Sunflowers grow in the strangest ways ... up up-up with lots of v large leaves then a tiny head appears ... Not until a long time afterwards does the head grow large turning yellow ... imitating the sun ...
Magpie back for breakfast then flew up onto scaffolding a few doors up and watched me sitting at the sitooterie door ...'
