Coll etc: & through the Mull Sound. I'm sure we must have gone round all the islands on the W. coast, both Inner & Outer! Finally we made a dash for the N. Coast of Ireland, reached Rathlin Island & were there met by a patrol boat, & were told to make for Belfast Lough, as we would not be able to get in to Liverpool owing to the Boche subs. So in to Belfast Lough we went - that was yesterday - & here we are "interned" once again - this time admiring Belfast from afar! It's a most beautiful day, calm & peaceful - more than can be said of our tempers! 14 days exactly since we left Bergen!

We arrived here this morning - O.K. & in the best of tempers!! We 4 "Scottish Widows" were transhipped in all haste
at mid-day yesterday - we took a "tender farewell" of the "Smolensk", our gallant Capt: & kind crew & crossed to Ardrossan last night. We arrived in Glasgow at a late hour (- Sunday morn: practically - ) yester: - this being the Sabbath day, no trains are running, (in war time!), so there was nothing for it but to board a "Theatrical Special" which was going through to
