Description
A photograph of the buildings in the Canongate, Edinburgh from a stereographic negative. Several windows in the building are open and a women stands by the door. Stone steps lead upwards into a arched passageway. A street lamp stands outside on the pavement. Some pieces of washing dry from the upstairs windows of the next house. The rest of the street can be seen in the distance.
