Privacy information and cookies
You can use Capital Collections without registering for an account. If you do wish to register for an account, we request personal information from you on registration to give you access to additional site features. Your information will be used to manage your account.
Data is shared with iBase Media Services Ltd in their role as data processor. iBase will not view client data or digital assets except as necessary on a need to know basis in the course of development or support.
We will not use your data for any other reason except on occasion use the email you have supplied on registration to alert you to information that may affect your use of Capital Collections e.g. system interruptions.
You can update the information on your record and request that your account is deleted from Capital Collections by contacting capitalcollections@edinburgh.gov.uk. The information you add is held until you instruct us to delete your account.
Conditions of processing
In processing personal information, The City of Edinburgh Council must comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Article 6(1)(b) processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract.
Data will remain in the EU.
