Title
Originally a bedsheet, this banner is a striking reminder of some the individuals who have lost their lives as a result of structural racism
Description
Protest placards and banners take many shapes and sizes. In a protest where signs are created boldly and swiftly with urgency, often using mainly black paint on cardboard, this bed sheet stands out not just from its sheer size but also for the use faces of the victims of police brutality.
The back of the banner has faint guidelines, showing the meticulous planning which has gone into the placement of each illustration or photograph.
