Description
An image of the buildings along the Shore at Leith. In the foreground the Water of Leith passes under a bridge with gas lamps on it, which leads into Bernard Street. On the corner is an ornate building with a clock tower. It has an art dealer occupying the ground floor and the shop next door is a wine & spirit merchant. Huge filled sacks are lying in the street between the two shops. On the other side of the road is William Rutherford's Bar (now the King's Wark).
