Small apartment in the castle of Edinburgh where King James VI was born 19th June 1566
Description
An interior room of a building. The ceiling has decorative mouldings and carvings which include thistles and crowns. Around the top of the walls are more carvings showing heraldic features which includes unicorns, flags and a shield. Two portrait paintings hang on the wall. One picture is of a woman the other is of a man in ceremonial regalia. On the wooden floor three high backed chairs and a table sit in front of a fireplace. People can be seen through the doorway to the room.
