Falshaw Bridge is situated at the west end of Glenogle Road, close to the Stockbridge Colonies. It occupies the site of an earlier wooden footbridge which connected the colonies to the main part of Stockbridge. The bridge was opened in 1877 by the Lord Provost James Falshaw for whom the bridge is named. In the 1950's it underwent structural reinforcement and some renovation.
