Description
Edinburgh Castle sits on a rocky outcrop, overlooking the city centre. The fortification has defensive walls some of which are crenellated. In front of the castle the National Gallery, Royal Academy, Princes Street Gardens and Princes Street can be seen. The Gardens have pathways cutting through the grass lawns and trees and a line of statues. The road is busy with traffic which includes trams, horse-drawn carriages, cars and a rider on horse back. The shop fronts have canopies pulled down over the windows.
