Text from page 927: This unique photograph of the sinking of a great warship was taken from one of the aeroplanes of the Allied forces at the Dandanelles while flying at a height of several hundred feet above sea level.
HMS Majestic was a Majestic-class pre-dreadnought battleship of the Royal Navy. On 27 May 1915, she was torpedoed by a U-boat at Cape Helles, sinking with the loss of 49 men.
