Description
A lion climbs some steps beside a statue of a man holding down another lion, a spear in his outstretched arm. Behind is a starry sky and the silhouetted tops of trees. The rhyme is written on the statue's pedestal, it reads:
"The Lion and the Statue

On a statue - king lion dethroned,
Showing conqueror man, - lion frowned.
"If a lion, you know,
Had been sculptor, he'd show
Lion rampant, and man on the ground."

The story depends on the teller."
