Laus Deo House
Description
A lamp sits over the doorway of a house with "Laus Deo" written on it on the High Street, Edinburgh. A woman and child are standing looking at a horse who wears blinkers and a bridle and is pulling a cart. A man with a hat and an axe is sitting on the cart. Two soldiers on horseback ride down the cobbled street whilst talking to each other. Washing hangs from some of the tenement windows.
