'That damn squirrel has been digging in the window box where I planted the salad seeds ...
It climbed up to the bird feeder outside the sitooterie window this morning and looked in ... I had to bang hard on the window to chase it off then half a minute later it was back ...
I have now planted 11 sunflowers in my garden after the first 3 survived ...'
