Nov:11th 1916 Cargo boat Admiral's launch en route to Ismail.

We are once more on the move & are wending our way back to Ismail again. We have enjoyed our little change immensely & feel ever so much the better of it. We are travelling in state this time, no barges or cargo boats thank you! Nothing lower than an admiral's launch!
On making enquiries yesterday, we found we could not get a return boat for some days, so as it was medical stores mainly, that we came up for, & as they are urgently required at our hospital in Ismail, we thought it adviseable to tackle some of the "higher command" as to our getting back at once - so we "took the bull by the horns" & went to consult Admiral Spirapol, who is in command at Galatz. He was most kind & charming & said at once that he would send us back in his own launch to-day. So here we are, installed in his lordship's own cabin, with a nice warm stove & surrounded by every comfort, instead of shivering with cold on board a dirty old cargo boat for 48 hours. We left at 10 a.m. & expect to get to Ismail about 5 o'cl: this evening. It's a horrid, cold, misty day.
