so we shouldered our bundles & marched on board & very soon we had sailors dancing all around us, seizing our haversacksetc: etc:. The Admiral did not happen to be on board, but in his stead, we were received by a very charming Russian Prince, who was is in command of a Division in Rumania & who makes his headquarters with the Admiral when "back" from the front. We explained matters to him & he was most frightfully nice & insisted on us staying to dinner on board. Needless to say, we did not require much pressing! We were royally entertained & after a most enjoyable evening, "our" prince took us along to another boat where he had got cabins for us & where we "lodged" for the night. We had an early start next morning as the Galatz boat went at 5 a.m., we finally arrived at our destination at 10 a.m. We drove direct to the Consul's house & found 3 of the unit there, the ones who are arranging, chequeing [checking] & looking after the stores. The Consul has given them a nice, big, airy basement room below his house & there they are encamped & there we were given floor room. We were so glad to see the others & how we all talked!
