Sognefjord is Norway's longest and deepest fjord (a deep, narrow and elongated sea or lake drain, with steep land on three sides). Sognefjord lies in the heart of the Norwegian fjord country - Fjord Norway - and continues for over 200 kilometres inland to the national parks of Jotunheimen and Jostedalsbreen.
