The former Commercial Bank is located in New Assembly Close, Edinburgh, on the south side of the High Street. It was built by James Gillespie Graham in 1814, incorporating with much modification the 18th century Assembly Rooms for which the close is named. The building ceased to serve as a bank in 1847, and has since housed the Edinburgh Wax Museum and a children's home. It is now owned by the Faculty of Advocates.
