West Crosscauseway - north east corner in process of demolition
Description
There is a sign for C.M.Speirs, Wine and Spirit Merchant in front of the gap site where a house has been pulled down. The neighbouring properties are propped up with timber scaffold.

Now divided into East and West Crosscauseway the streets branch east and west from Nicolson Street, connecting it to Richmond Place to the east and Chapel Street to the west. The name is an anglicised version of the older 'Crosscausey'.
